La Chapellenie - Nos Chambres

OUR ROOMS

We presently have four rooms, two on the first floor and two on the second floor. They are reached by a stunning two hundred year old walnut and oak staircase which has been lovingly restored. Every room has been decorated and furnished in a different style that complements the surroundings, complete with vintage and antique furniture, original art and posters that all tell the story of the room, the house and its history. They have large windows, bathed with natural light and offer views of the ancient square outside and our private courtyard to the rear.

Each room has a large double bed with luxury mattress and high thread count cotton linens with soft and airy pillows tailored for a restful and comfortable sleep. Each also has a spacious en-suite shower and toilet facilities, complete with complimentary Ashina Jacobsen toiletries.

Unfortunately, due to the nature of our historic building it not suitable for those with mobility issues, children under 12 or companion animals.

BREAKFAST ROOM

The breakfast room is on the ground floor which looks out upon the south facing courtyard and the 15th century chapel, long a place of worship and a resting place for pilgrims traveling southwards towards the Santiago de Compostela.

Breakfast is served with views over the ancient courtyard outside. Freshly baked croissants with newly ground coffee or a selection of teas will greet you on arrival, with a wide choice of breads, meats, handmade yoghurts and jams and local fruit in season. If out exploring packed lunches can be supplied, if requested in advance

WINE O’CLOCK

We recently introduced a ‘Meet and Greet’ early evening get-together with other guests and it has proved to be a great success. Meeting in the breakfast room from 6pm till 7pm to enjoy a complimentary glass of local wine and savoury bites, all supplied by local artisan producers. It is an excellent way to meet up and discuss your touring plans for the next day and the many places to visit in the local area
